2 MAY 2021 – Relocation to Portsmouth

Posted on 22 Apr 2021 @ 12:45pm by Chief Warrant Officer 3 Kevin Roe

It was hard to sit down and write this entry but like George I planned on keeping a log of everyday of my service in the United States Coast Guard. Today was a long day sending my household goods to my new place ahead of my actual departure from New York was the smartest thing I could have done. I was able to get my bed setup and made for tonight and the other furniture worked well enough based on where the moving company placed it. Thanks to my old buddy and his wife (Tim and Lydia) from MSRT East they got everything all set for me. JTTF NY was a great assignment and I’m disappointed my time there is over.

I’ll do a late log on my last operation with JTTF NY when I have some time... for now I need to hit the rack tomorrow I report in as a Supervisory Special Agent at the new Chesapeake-Capital region office.
